Talkin’ Sports with Cammi Blaser

Cammi Blaser is our new assistant in our Athletic department. We interviewed Cammi and asked the following questions:
Question: What is something about the athletic department that the average student would be surprised to know?
Answer: “We don't have any off seasons, there are 22 sports just for Fall, 362 Springville High students registered for sports. It's always busy here in the athletic department,” said Cammi Blaser.
Question: What does a typical game day morning look like for the staff behind the scenes?
Answer: “There is a lot happening on game days, we write the scripts for the announcers, we have to set up for the game, we have to set up the score boards and put the sponsorships up, we prepare for the games all the way until it starts,” said Cammi Blaser.
As Red Devil athletics kicks off this season, let’s all support our athletes and attend their games.

Clothing and attire must follow the Nebo District Dress Code (this includes no spaghetti strap or strapless tops).
Student pictures are used for safety and identification purposes-it's important that students are clearly identifiable.
We encourage students to wear their "best dress," especially seniors, since these photos will appear on their official transcript, which is sent to colleges and universities.

Meet Mr. Conrad Nebeker — SPed teacher at Springville! Twelve years in special education: 7 teaching art in residential treatment, 5 as an academic advisor. If you get lost in the new building, come say hi! He’s here to make the SPED process make sense for students and families. Welcome, Conrad!

New welding teacher at SHS! Meet Mr. Jess Carter — 18 years in education, dad, husband, and auto mechanic at heart (72 cars and counting). From engineering at American Fork Jr. High to AP and Assistant Director of CTE in Alpine SD, he’s opened 3 middle schools, 1 high school, and remodeled 10 shop facilities. Welcome back to the classroom — he’s ready to teach welding and build something great at Springville! 🔧
