Wind Symphony Try Outs! 🎶

Instruments needed:
Flutes (3), Flute & Piccolo (1), Oboe (1), Clarinets (5), Alto Saxophone (2), Tenor Saxophone (1), Bari Saxophone (1), Bass Clarinet (2), Trumpets (5), French Horn (2), Euphonium (2), Trombone (4), Tuba (2), Percussion (5), Upright Bass (1).

Requirements:

FULL year commitment for 2026-2027 school year REQUIRED
Sign up for an audition time by scanning the QR code or emailing Ms. Olson at ali.olson@nebo.edu
Prepare 4 Major Scales (eighth notes at 120 bpm) and 12-20 measures of a Concert Band piece or instrumental solo.

The SHS Dance Company (SDC) will present their 7th annual "Dance Company Showcase" Thursday, March 5th at 7pm in the SHS auditorium. This show will feature SDC with special guest performances by Esprit de Corps, Charisma Dance Studios, The Oaks Dance, Ember Dance Studios, and the SHS Ballroom Dance Team. Please join us for this night of dance inspiration and entertainment; one of the last few performances on our current stage. Admission $10 Students $7.

Nebo District recently hosted its annual STEM Fair, and thanks to the dedication of our science teachers—especially Doug Morris—Springville High School saw its highest student participation in years. We are delighted to invite all Nebo Community members to join our Nebo 3rd Annual Chinese New Year Celebration on February 25th, 2026! It's the year of the Horse! We will host everyone at the Nebo School District Summit Center (165 S 700 E, Springville) this year, and looking forward to hosting at our new SHS next year. This event offers students and the community a unique opportunity to engage deeply with Chinese culture through various cultural booths, food stands, and performances by our Nebo Chinese students. This complimentary event is meant to offer enriching cultural experiences that foster understanding and appreciation of diverse perspectives.
