May Students of the Month

Congratulations to the Red Devil Students of the Month! These students were nominated by the Counseling Department.

Jace Broberg, nominated by Mr. Johnson. "Jace has been a Spanish peer tutor to give back with the Spanish he has learned. He also suffered a concussion in February and had some challenges with Soccer and keeping up with his course work, yet he was able to keep up in his classes."

Gillian Paxton, nominated by Mrs. Swenson. "Gillian Paxton has worked hard this year to overcome a difficult physical injury all the while staying on track academically. She works hard in all of her classes and even chose to move a class online which requires her to be self motivated to stay on top of all of that coursework. She asks great questions and continues to explore her interests through electives to explore her future options."

Jack Fowler, nominated by Mr. Johnson. "Jack is incredibly friendly and always willing to help out. He is on of our most reliable Spanish language tutors."

Charlotte Fuhriman, nominated by Mrs. Whatcott. "Always friendly and approachable, Charlotte is someone who naturally makes others feel welcome. She has a gift for noticing when someone might need a friend and makes a genuine effort to include everyone. Her compassion and commitment to others truly make her stand out."

Dallas Zobell, nominated by Mrs. Thornock. "Dallas is kind, a hard worker and always so positive. Every time I see him he has a smile on his face. Dallas is involved in a lot and puts 110% in everything that he does. He doesn't let his grades slide because he's busy or let his other responsibilities fall apart because he needs to keep grades up. He has been able to find a great balance. Dallas is awesome."

Hailey Gardner, nominated by Mrs. Owens. "Hailey is a really hard worker, after struggling last year she has done all of her credit recovery, has great attendance, and is a joy to be around!"

Nathan Mckinnon, nominated by Mr. Provence. "Nathan is so fun to be around and is always concerned about the well being of others. He loves playing jokes on others, especially trying to scare them. His favorite thing to do is trying to convince others that there is a monster behind them. When there is a task that he enjoys, he works hard to complete it. One of his favorite past times here at school is playing in the rocks next to my classroom."
