Another 4th Grader in Mrs. Deardeuff’s class bought Mrs. Darrington’s chair with his Croc Cash. Since it’s become so popular in the class, he was asked why buy the Principal’s chair? He said it’s comfy and it makes him feel like a King for a day.

There were so many creative Valentine’s Boxes brought to school today. The PTA chose winners from every grade level. Each child that brought a Valentine’s box got a treat from the PTA. Happy Valentine’s Day Crocs!

Kindergarten has been learning about the seasons and weather. Mrs. Holden’s class enhanced their study of winter by reading Jane Yolen’s Owl Moon and created art using paint sticks, directed drawing technique, and watercolor pencils.

Mrs. Nielson’s 5th grade class takes the Spirit Day Trophy again with 95% of the class wearing Spirit Day attire or RED. Congratulations!
Discovery Gateway visited to teach the kindergarten students about one of our science standards: push and pull. They experimented with which objects can be pulled and which can be pushed (ie: a stick and rope can both be pulled but a rope cannot be pushed), then worked as teams to problem solve using a hover board. Learning about science is fun!
This Cherry Creek Croc won the Keyboarding Contest in 5th grade and went on to win place eighth overall in Nebo district in the grade level competition. Congratulations!
