Currently, the Springville Boys Soccer team standings are 3-5-3, three wins, five loses, and three tie games. Five of their games have gone into overtime, three of which in double overtime! The players are definitely dedicated to winning their next games to move up their status and get to the region competition. Even though some are discouraged with their current ranking, they haven’t lost their spirit.

Parker Brady said, “It’s definitely disappointing that we haven’t won very many games. There are six games until state, and we are in 7th place. Only the top five teams go to state.”

Ethan Trunnell said, “It’s disappointing and exciting to have had about six games go into overtime.”

“The most disappointing thing is our record,” said McKay Murphy.

Christian Allen said, “The most rewarding has been the chocolate milk after practice.”

“The most disappointing was that I didn’t start when I’m enrolled at BYU,” said Josh Buhler.

Jake Miles said, “The most disappointing was that Josh didn’t start.”

“The worst thing was tying with Maple Mountain. But, the best thing was getting chocolate milk after practice,” said Ryan Murray.

Springville’s next home game is on May 1 when the Red Devils Boys Soccer team plays against Timpview at 4 p.m. So, come out and support Springville High and show your school Spirit.
