The Lady Red Devil’s tennis team should do great this year based off how they fared in preseason play.  On Wednesday, August 24, Springville matched up against Mountain View to end the preseason with a bang.  The majority of the team won their matches with a few losses along the way.

Taylor Murphy began rocky, but she calmed down and took the victory with a score of 6-4, 6-0 against the Mountain View Bruins.   It was a long hard match that pushed Murphy to her limits.   Although she won, she knows that there is still room for improvement.

“I need to move my feet more,” said Murphy.

We hope to see our Lady Red Devil’s tennis team continually improve this season.
