Lady Red Devils dominate rivals

On Thursday, September 15, Springville High’s Varsity girls’ soccer took a win 2–1 against our local rival Maple Mountain. The Lady Red Devils entered the field with extreme determination and pride to prove their dominance over the Lady Golden Eagles. Springville’s Amie Critchfield immediately scored the first goal by dodging an aggressive defense and blew past opposing goalie, Kara Betts.
As the Lady Red Devils approached the final few minutes of the game, the score was still tied 1–1, the crowd roaring with enthusiasm. Elsie Rowe feeling the support of her peers, drives through a superior defense and scores the winning goal.
