The Springville High School Alumni Scholarship Fund

(Deadline- May 1^st to the Counseling Office) 

The Springville High School Alumni Scholarship has been created by the Alumni of Springville High School to provide financial help for graduating students who have proven themselves to be of strong character, who have achieved academically while giving significant volunteer service at school and in the community. This year there will be two $250.00 scholarships awarded.

The student will be awarded $250.00. The check will be sent to the college or university of the student's choice**

 Qualifications:

            SHS Graduating Student

            Minimum 3.25 GPA

            Exemplifies good citizenship and service to the community

            Strong personal character

 Scholarship Application must consist of:

            Title page with applicant's full name, complete address and name of parent/guardian

            One letter of recommendation

            Official transcripts

            Resume (Two page maximum)

            Typed essay explaining volunteer service at school and in the community. Include in essay why you feel it is important to give of your time, energy, and talents to the community in which you live.

Applicant needs to provide 4 complete copies of the above requirements for use in judging.

Applications will not be returned.
