SEOP

The Student Education Occupational Plan is a process setup wherein School Counselors track each student's scholastic progress and their educational and occupational plans.

For Sophomores , SEOPs are conducted during the required Computer Technology class. The Counselors come into the Computer Tech classes five times a semester and go over career planning, interest inventories, and much more.

Junior SEOPs start mid-February. Parents are invited and encouraged to attend. Invitations are mailed out stating the time and date of each student's SEOP. In the Junior SEOP the Counselors review each student's credit evaluation and recommend classes needed for graduation. This is also the time that Juniors register for their Senior year classes.

The Senior SEOP is conducted at the beginning of the year. Parents are encouraged to attend! Invitations are sent out listing the time and date of each student's SEOP. During the Senior SEOP, students fill out their graduation application, receive information regarding scholarships and college applications, and get to take home their SEOP folders.
