John Call Wins Annual Physics Mousetrap Car Race at SHS!

Each year, Springville High Physics’ classes sponsor a mousetrap car race for physics students. Students design and build a car powered only by a mousetrap. The object is to devise a car that will travel as far as possible. Most cars go somewhere between five and ten meters. The car built by Jon Call broke the old school record of 72 meters.  His car traveled 80.5 meters (that is nearly the full distance from the outside doors by Mr. Clements room to the Little Theater).  The car was of excellent design and John had obviously spent many hours building it.   Congratulations, John!
