1 - FLEXIBILITY: the ability to move a joint through a full range of motion.
Students will demonstrate static, dynamic, and PNF (proprioceptive
neuromuscular facilitation) stretches for all major joint and muscle
groups in the body.2 - MUSCULAR ENDURANCE: the ability to contract the muscles many
times without tiring or to hold one contraction for a long period of timeStudents will develop an understanding of muscular endurance in all
physical education courses.3 - CARDIOVASCULAR FITNESS: the ability of the heart, lungs, and
blood vessels to function efficiently when the person exercises the body.Students will demonstrate knowledge of cardiovascular fitness by
performing in their target heart rate zone for a minimum of twenty
minutes.4 - BODY COMPOSITION: all of the tissues that together make up the
body.Students will develop an understanding of healthy and unhealthy
percentages of body composition by using BMI (body mass index)
or body fat percentage.5 - MUSCULAR STRENGTH: the amount of force a muscle can exert.
Students will understand and develop muscular strength by
participating in various physical education activities.Pre-test and Post-test
